1. Before Using the MR-2
Inserting or Replacing Batteries
TheMR‐2requirestwoAA‐sizebatteries.Werecom‐
mendthatyouus enickel‐metalhydridebatteries,but
youmayalsousealkalinebatteries(LR6).
Theperformanceofalkalinebatteriesdifferssignif‐
icantlybetweenmanufacturers.Toensurethatthe
MR‐2operatesinastablemanner,pleaseusebat‐
teriesfromareputa
blema
nufacturer(seepage58).
Donotcombinenewandusedbatteriesordifferent
typesofbatteries.
TheserialnumberoftheMR‐2isprintedonthe
labelinsidethebatterycase.Youmaybeaskedfor
theserialnumberifyoucontactKorgoryournear‐
estKorgdealerregardingth
eproduct
orrepair.
1. Makesurethatthepowerisswitchedoff.AllLED
indicators,andthedisplayshouldalsobeoff.
2. Removethebatterycasecover.
3. Ifthebatteriesareinthecase,removethemfromthecase.
4. InserttwoAA‐sizebatteriesintothecasewiththe+and−endsinthe
correctorientation.
5. Replacethebatterycasecover.
Replacethebatterieswithnewoneswhenbatterypowergetslow.
Whenthebatteriesexpire,removethemfromthecaseimmediately.Ifyou
don’ tplantousetheunitforalongperiodoftime,removethebatteries.
